USS SOL PHOTO GALLERY

This lifeform appeared on our bridge at our 1999 Christmas Party.  Unfortunately, before we could determine its level of sentience, it was taken to the galley and ingested by our XO. He was posthumously named "Carrotman."

Capt. Swift is leading a scenario written by First Officer Captain Meta.  All our departments are involved working out this mystery.  From left to right are Major Terry Taylor, Capt. Ginger Meta, Commander Mike Thomas, Capt, Brian Swift, and CPO Dan Toole. Winter 1999

The crew of the U.S.S. Sol is ready to appear in Fairbanks' annual Golden Days Parade (July 1999).  Like a true Alaskan float, it sports a blue tarp and plenty of duct tape!  Pieces and panels from the Bridge set are displayed fore and aft, giving the onlookers two different views of our ship as we pass by.  We have made many improvements since then, and as the pictures become available, they'll be posted.

On a rainy Sunday in July, Fleetmeet 99 featured a roleplay adventure, a promotion ceremony, lots of Alien and Terran food, a merchant's table and a continual run of Star Trek episodes.  Star Trek fans came and went all day.

The CMO (retired) Commodore Trina Anderson and Chief Cook Ens. Tom DeBeoard joke over the contents of the grill.  We won't tell you which department the meat came from!  Typical Fleetmeet behavior, and we don't even drink!
