Under the Division Commander are the Vessel Commanding Officers and the Chains of Command of those vessels.

Python Sector Command is responsible for relaying the Orders sent down by Starfleet Command. Operations initiated by Python Sector Command must be approved by Starfleet Command, either in fact or by the authority given to the Sector Commander.

JOIN Python Fleet

Command and Control (CNC) is located on Deck 1 in the top of the large central "bubble" at the top of Starbase. The CNC is 50 meters (150.2') in diameter. It has an outer upper level and a lower inner level. The single turbolift can be locked down in case of invasion by hostile forces, isolating CNC from the rest of Starbase.

Each sit-down station has a small viewscreen on which station operations can be visually monitored. Security has a bank of 30 viewscreens which keep track of personnel in sensitive areas of Starbase. Primary Security on Deck 370 has a similar monitoring station with 20 additional viewscreens for civilian areas.

In a dire emergency, the entire 70-deck command section can eject from the Starbase and maneuver with thrusters to a safe orbit around Pythus III.
